Colorado - I love this place. There is an incredible amount of diversity here and opportunities to go places and do things. I travel with friends up the mountains and go out on some of the easier 4WD roads in either my 1981 Subaru or 1992 Jeep Cherokee. I also have taken in some of the history of Colorado and visited a number of interesting places around the state. There are lots of historical and interesting places left in Colorado, and some are quite spectacular - in fact, so spectacular that photos rarely do the places justice. I'll try to get the best photos that I have taken, along with a lot of commentary to go along with it and share experiences.
| I realize that many people are armchair adventurers, but that doesn't mean that they might not visit the interesting places that they read about. Sometimes people visit fascinating areas because something that they read piqued their interest. I've noticed that many sites for these sorts of places are very sales oriented - this is ok, but, quite a few details and information is left off, or altered to make something more out of them than really is - I guess that they want you to come experience it instead. |

I find that the more I know about a subject before I go to see it, the more I enjoy what I see. I also know to look for things that I might not have looked for otherwise. So, if you like pictures and some details about the experience, then you'll like this site. I'm always amazed at how creative people have been when it comes to solving difficult problems - occasionally dumb luck is the mother of invention. Occasionally the spirit world (as in ghosts) comes into play - other times someone consumed too many spirits.
While this site is not selling anything, we may link to some sites that either sell things that might be of interest, or may provide services that relate to the area. Who knows, you might decide to move to Colorado, and it can't hurt to have a few references that might get you settled where you want to live. Its a big state and there is no shortage of places to visit. Let your imagination be your guide.
Here are some thought provoking questions to get you started - there are no trick questions! Somewhere along the line, I'll answer these (but it may take a while for me to get around to it).
That should get you thinking - Now on to some adventures!
