I have worldwide radio exposure for three of my songs without having mailed out any CD singles!
Today's technology makes this possible and less expensive than the traditional method.
My songs were uploaded to a Digital Music Library (Promo Library) and can be down loaded and broadcasted by any of the radio stations and other users that are subscribers to this service.
Most radio stations receive their songs and music for broadcast from record label personnel (and/or artists) that visit the stations, through the mail, or by UPS, Federal Express, etc.
One of my songs, THAT'S ALL RIGHT, is up-tempo blues-rock.
Two others, THE STRONGEST LOVE, and MY PRECIOUS LOVE, are slow, romantic ballads.
All three of them were recorded with the Roland VS-880. My simple equipment list is at:
The masters of the songs are saved on Iomega Zip disks. They can be uploaded into any Roland VS-880 recorder in your city. They can they be processed further on the Roland, or exported into other equipment.
You can't hear any of my songs that are on the Digital Music Library (also known as a Promo Library). They are not accessible to the general public. The radio listening audience hears them the standard way, with their car, office, or home radio.

The March edition of the Atlantic Satellite Marketing "Buyers Guide & Radio Airplay Chart" has THAT'S ALL RIGHT listed at position #1,699.
This may not seem very significant to you, yet this insignificant song is listed on the same chart with all the famous names in the music business - - - and with all the releases by the major recording labels.
The Atlantic Satellite Marketing chart lists 2500 songs that are playing on radio stations worldwide, and/or being used by others in the business as satellite transfers.
